What This Job Actually Is
This is a full-time onsite internship of three to six months. The exact length, the stipend and the start date are agreed in the first call — we would rather tell you the specifics directly than post a number here we might have to qualify later.
You would work on production code, not a sandbox project invented to keep an intern busy. That is only possible because everything you write is reviewed before it merges, by the same engineers who built the rest of the system. The work is real, and so is the safety net.
What we are looking for is not a long CV. It is evidence that you build things and that you can explain why you built them that way — a college project, a side project, a half-finished repo with a good README. Bring something you can talk about.
What You Would Do
- Build UI components in React and Next.js against real designs.
- Write and extend API endpoints in Node.js, and the tests that go with them.
- Pick up bugs from real projects, reproduce them, and fix the underlying cause.
- Respond to code review — read the comments, ask when they are unclear, and push the fix.
- Join standups and demos, and say plainly where you are stuck.
What You Bring
The first list is what the job genuinely requires. The second is not a filter — apply without any of it.
Must-haves
- Solid JavaScript fundamentals — you can explain scope, promises and async/await without reciting.
- Something you have built that we can look at: a repo, a deployed project, or a college assignment you are proud of.
- Final-year student or recent graduate in any discipline; we care what you can build, not what the degree says.
- Able to work onsite at our Utran office, Monday to Friday, for the full internship.
What You Will Learn
An internship should leave you able to do something you could not do before. This is what we are committing to teach.
- How a production codebase is structured, and why it is not organised like a tutorial project.
- What real code review looks like — how to receive it, and eventually how to give it.
- Git in a team: branching, pull requests, resolving conflicts without panicking.
- How a client requirement becomes a scoped ticket and then a shipped feature.
- Deployment and CI basics — how the thing you wrote gets to a server.
- How a software services company actually runs, including the commercial parts nobody teaches.
