The Role

What This Job Actually Is

A full-time onsite internship of three to six months. Length, stipend and start date are agreed in the first call rather than advertised here.

You would join our mobile work — mostly Flutter, with native Kotlin where a project needs it — building features on apps that have real users waiting for them. Every change you make is reviewed by the engineer who owns that app before it goes anywhere near a release.

You do not need professional experience. You do need to have built something on Android, even a small one, and to be able to walk us through the decisions you made in it.

Day to Day

What You Would Do

  • Build screens and features in Flutter, and in native Kotlin where the project calls for it.
  • Wire the app up to real APIs and handle the states that come with them — loading, empty, failed.
  • Test on actual devices, not only the emulator, and report what you find.
  • Fix bugs on live apps under review from the engineer who owns them.
  • Help prepare release builds and understand what goes into a Play Store submission.
What We Need

What You Bring

The first list is what the job genuinely requires. The second is not a filter — apply without any of it.

Must-haves

  • Fundamentals in Kotlin or Dart, and at least one Android app you have built and can demo.
  • Understanding of the Android app lifecycle and why it matters for state.
  • Final-year student or recent graduate; portfolios count for more than marks.
  • Able to work onsite at our Utran office, Monday to Friday, for the full internship.

Nice to have

  • Any Flutter exposure, or a published app of any size.
  • Familiarity with Git and having worked in a shared repository.
  • Having used Firebase, or integrated any third-party SDK.
The Point of It

What You Will Learn

An internship should leave you able to do something you could not do before. This is what we are committing to teach.

  1. 01How production Android projects are structured, and how that differs from a course project.
  2. 02Cross-platform development in Flutter alongside native Android work.
  3. 03Working against real API contracts, including handling the failures.
  4. 04Testing on a device matrix and debugging problems you cannot reproduce on your own phone.
  5. 05What a Play Store release actually involves — signing, tracks, staged rollout.
  6. 06Code review, Git workflow, and how features move from ticket to shipped.
