The terms that govern your use of aquisontechnologies.com — what you may do here, and what we promise.
These terms govern your use of aquisontechnologies.com — the website you are reading. Aquison Technologies is a software studio based in Surat, Gujarat, India, and in this document "we", "us" and "our" mean that company.
These terms are not a services contract. If you engage us to build something, that work is governed by a separate agreement signed by both parties — covering scope, price, timelines, intellectual property, confidentiality and warranties. Nothing on this website replaces, amends or overrides that agreement, and nothing here commits either of us to a project.
Our published applications carry their own terms as well. Where a product has its own document, that document governs the product and this one governs only the website that describes it.
By browsing this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site — that is the entire remedy, on both sides.
You must be able to form a binding contract to accept them. If you are using this site for an organisation, you are confirming you may accept them on that organisation's behalf.
You may read, print, quote and share anything we publish here. For ordinary quotation — a paragraph in an article, a screenshot in a talk, a link in a newsletter — attribution and a link back are all we ask. No permission request is necessary.
What we ask you not to do is narrower than the usual list, and each item has a reason:
If you find a security flaw, please tell us at hello@aquisontechnologies.com rather than demonstrating it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine vulnerability to us in good faith and gives us a fair chance to fix it before disclosing it.
Our material. The design, code, written content, photography and branding of this site belong to Aquison Technologies, except where noted below. The permissions in the previous section are what you have; beyond them, rights are reserved.
Client work. Projects shown in our portfolio were built for the clients named there. Those clients own that work — its designs, its trademarks and its content. It appears here with permission, to show what we do. Nothing in our showing it grants you any right to it, and nothing implies those clients endorse us beyond having let us publish the work.
Third-party names. Technology names, logos and trademarks mentioned across this site belong to their respective owners. We use them to describe what we work with. Their appearance is not a claim of affiliation, partnership or endorsement in either direction.
Your material. Anything you send us stays yours. Sending us an enquiry or an application does not transfer rights in it — we use it only to respond to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
It is not advice. Articles, guides and technical writing here are published to be useful, not to be relied on as professional advice for your specific situation. Technology moves; an article correct when written may not stay correct. Verify before you act on it, and engage someone — us or anyone else — if the decision matters.
It is not an offer. Descriptions of our services, case studies and any figures shown are informational. They are not a quotation, a binding offer, or a promise of any particular outcome. A price becomes real when it is in a signed agreement, and not before.
Past work is not a prediction. Portfolio outcomes describe what happened on those projects, under those conditions, with those clients. They are not a forecast of what would happen on yours.
We link to external sites where they are useful. We do not control them, we do not review them on any schedule, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their handling of your data. When you follow an outbound link you are their visitor, on their terms.
We aim to keep this site up and correct, and we make no promise that it will be. It is offered as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows those to be excluded.
We may change, move or remove any part of this site at any time, without notice. There is no uptime commitment attached to a marketing website, and we would rather say so than imply one we have not undertaken to meet.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aquison Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of your use of this website.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to this website is limited to ₹10,000.
Two limits on those limits, because a term that tried to exclude these would be neither honest nor enforceable: nothing here excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else Indian law does not permit us to exclude. And if you are a consumer, this section does not reduce the statutory rights you have under consumer protection law.
If you use this site in breach of these terms and that causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages arising from it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and give you a fair opportunity to be involved in resolving it.
How we handle information about you is set out in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms. The short version: this site runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and its contact form composes a draft in your own mail application rather than sending anything to us.
We may revise these terms. When we do, the effective date and version at the top of this page change, and the revised terms apply to use of the site from that date. They do not apply retroactively to anything that happened under an earlier version.
We do not maintain a public archive of previous versions. If you need to know what these terms said on a particular date, ask us and we will tell you.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this website.
If any provision here is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the invalid provision is treated as narrowed to whatever the law does permit.
Before anyone goes to court, please write to hello@aquisontechnologies.com. Nearly everything that reaches that address gets resolved there.
Questions about these terms, or think something here is wrong? Tell us — we would rather fix it than argue it.
