What This Job Actually Is
We built a site we are proud of: technical case studies, service pages written by the people who deliver the work, and a journal that is not filler. What we have not done is market it properly. That is what this role is for.
You would own the channels end to end — organic search, the content calendar, paid experiments, and the analytics that tell us which of those deserves next month's budget. You would work directly with the people who set our direction, and with engineers who can actually implement the technical SEO changes you ask for.
We would rather run three things well and measure them honestly than run ten and report impressions. If a channel is not working, we want to hear that from you before we hear it from the numbers.
What You Would Do
- Own on-page and technical SEO for the site, working with engineers on the changes that need code.
- Plan and commission the content calendar — briefs, keywords, and getting posts actually published.
- Run and optimise paid campaigns on Google and LinkedIn within an agreed budget.
- Manage our LinkedIn presence and write posts that sound like the company rather than a template.
- Set up and maintain analytics so every channel has a number attached to it.
- Report monthly on what moved, what did not, and what you want to change next.
What You Bring
The first list is what the job genuinely requires. The second is not a filter — apply without any of it.
Must-haves
- 1–3 years in digital marketing, ideally B2B or services rather than consumer e-commerce.
- Hands-on with SEO fundamentals — keyword research, on-page work, and reading a crawl report.
- Comfortable in Google Analytics and Search Console, and able to explain what the numbers mean.
- Genuinely good written English; you would be writing things that go out under our name.
- Onsite at our Utran office, Monday to Friday.
