
Project Overview
AQNEX is a production-grade multi-portal enterprise solution engineered to streamline online retail operations. By uniting three distinct operational portals — a high-performance storefront for consumers, a robust inventory and order controller for administrators, and an integrated supply chain desk for multi-vendor partners — the suite eliminates system fragmentation and drives business growth.
The Challenge
A rapidly scaling retail client struggled with disconnected legacy storefronts, separate backend dashboard systems, and manual CSV-based inventory exchanges with supplier partners. This fragmentation resulted in severe order lags, out-of-stock ordering issues, and manual billing overhead. The solution had to synchronize storefront, admin oversight, and supplier fulfillment portals in real-time, all while keeping sensitive financial stats obscured and secure.
Our Solution
We developed a unified triple-portal platform. Built using Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, the ecosystem features: (1) a mobile-first consumer storefront with high-performance search and friction-free payment flows; (2) a central administrator panel displaying real-time analytics, order dispatch queues, and store configurations; and (3) an independent supplier desk where verified vendors manage product listings, batch-upload inventories, and track fulfillment metrics. We added a built-in cryptographic Privacy Shield to obfuscate real transaction statistics during stakeholder demonstration sessions.
The Results
The suite achieved sub-second page loading speeds across the storefront, driving a 35% improvement in shopping cart checkout conversions. By implementing live database sync pipelines, multi-vendor stock discrepancies dropped to zero. Real-time shipping dispatches and invoices are now coordinated under 2 seconds, completely automating the fulfillment process.
